Annandale Park Pavilion

The City of Annandale is the owner of a pavilion facility in our municipal park located on Pleasant Lake. The entire pavilion building was extensively remodeled by the Annandale Lions Club and provides a great amenity to our community.  The pavilion has two levels with these amenities:

Upper Level: The upper level of the pavilion is an open space with wood flooring and windows on all sides providing great views. Approximately 20 tables and 120 chairs are stored in the upper level for renters' use. The upper level does not have any kitchen facilities or restrooms. It also does not have any heat, so it is only rented out during the warmer months. Restrooms are available in the municipal park for use by renters.

Lower Level: The lower level of the pavilion has a kitchen with stove and refrigerator; men's and women's restrooms; and is heated for rentals during the colder months. About 24 tables and 60 chairs are stored in the lower level for renters' use. The lower level has been nicely decorated by the Annandale Improvement Club and has had murals painted by local students.

Cleaning

In order to keep the facility in good condition while providing a reasonable rental rate (the rents collected are meant to cover the annual insurance and utility costs for the facility), we need renters to provide some routine clean up of the pavilion after your use. We basically need you to leave it in the same condition that you found it in. Renters are required to do the following:

1. Remove trash from the building and put it in the receptacles in the park for removal.
2. Sweep and, if necessary, mop floors.
3. Tables and chairs should be wiped clean and placed as found.
4. Bathrooms should be clean.
5. Lights should be turned off.
6. All windows and doors are to be closed and locked.

Supplies are provided for your use in cleaning, including garbage bags, broom and dust pan, mop and bucket, and bathroom cleaning supplies (lower level).

Keys should be returned within two business days of the rental, and the damage deposit will then be returned if the facility checks out with no damage or cleaning necessary.
